※ Date of Establishment: January 21, 2009 (Knowledge Economy Ministerial Approval No. 2009-01) Legal Basis: Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Promotion of Industrial Technology Research Associations and Article 2, Paragraph 2 of the Enforcement Decree of the same Act Consortium of Cloud Computing Research was established in January 2009 with approval from the Ministry of Knowledge Economy. Its purpose is to promote the development of the cloud computing industry by enabling its members to collaboratively address technical challenges—such as core technologies and common difficulties in the cloud computing field—and by supporting the dissemination of related technologies.
