Constitution Hill

Constitution Hill company information, Employees & Contact Information

Nowhere can the story of South Africa’s turbulent past and its extraordinary transition to democracy be told as it is at Constitution Hill. Constitution Hill is a national heritage site and is home to the Constitutional Court of South Africa – the highest court in the country. Once a place of injustice and brutality, where South Africa’s leading political activists, including Nelson Mandela, Winnie Mandela, Robert Sobukwe, Mahatma Gandhi and many more were detained, the site has been transformed into a place democracy. Home to the Women’s Jail museum, Number Four Museum, and Old Fort Museum, ConHill is also open to the public for guided tours. With its rich history, ConHill also offers a variety of unique venues for conferencing and events, and offers a restaurant. The site is the meeting point of the two City Sightseeing bus routes, and is within near proximity to the Gautrain bus stop and Rea Vaya bus station.
