Research group at the Universitat de les Illes Balears specialized in structural engineering. Our research primarily focuses on: - Behaviour of deteriorated concrete structures - Study of possible applications of shape memory alloys in the structural field, especially for strengthening existing structures. - Forensic engineering in buildings and civil constructions. Diagnosis and repair proposals - Mechanical models for the behaviour of concrete members and structures, specially related to the shear strength of concrete structures.
