This hands-on work provides us with the education that we need to be able to grow through the different paths offered in the construction industry. Construction also encapsulates the opportunity to be at the highest levels of required education in order to design, engineer & build. The problem in lies with how we approach this Workforce. We have 5 generations of people - working from a multitude of ethnic, racial, cultural, genders, levels of education, diverse backgrounds & life experiences. It is a supplemental professional development program that identifies the nuances of construction that we don’t get to learn in school.
