Construction Skills Consortium

The Construction Skills Consortium has developed the "Building Blocks into Construction" programme, supported by the Cross-Industry Construction Apprenticeship Task Force (CCATF), delivered by Involved Social Impact Projects (I-SIP) and funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) along with founding partners Breyer Group, Acquire Construction and Skanska. This programme represents a transformative approach to addressing the skills gap in the UK's construction industry. The construction sector in the UK is facing a significant challenge: a growing demand for skilled labour amidst a noticeable skills gap. "Building Blocks into Construction" is designed to bridge this gap by offering a robust training and career development programme for individuals seeking opportunities in the construction industry.
