Content Forum (Malaysia)

The Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia (the Content Forum) is an industry forum and self-regulatory organization designated under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (CMA'98) in February 2001 and operating under the auspices of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). As an industry self-regulatory body, the Content Forum comprises of key members of the communications and multimedia content industry, including broadcasters, advertisers, content creators, internet access service providers and civic groups. The Content Forum governs content and address content related issues disseminated by way of electronic networked medium with the key objective to facilitate a conducive environment for self-regulation by all members of the industry, including consumers of content.
