Content Moderation Lab

The Content Moderation Lab conducts global, user-centered research to inform evidence-based content moderation policies. Bridging gaps in existing studies, the Lab analyzes public attitudes and real-world data on hateful speech through cross-national surveys and other partnerships with CSOs. With researchers based at Oxford and TUM, the Lab provides practical insights for policymakers, regulators, and platforms, aiming to make digital spaces safer, more inclusive, and aligned with the needs and experiences of users worldwide.
