Online Multimedia Content-Distribution and Cloud-Based Hosting Application Content XLerator (CXL) enables users to easily post video, audio, image and text content to blogs, social media accounts and online video repositories. The idea of CXL originated in 2011 when an early version was created for the Packers Hall of Fame (wanted to post videos online but NFL wouldn't let them use YouTube). In 2012, CXL was introduced to other clients as a rough beta and the company has been working to enhance the system — based on customer feedback — ever since. The application was originally developed using the Zend PHP Framework, but will soon be updated using Laravel PHP Framework, AngularJS & Material Design. This update will significantly increase the application's performance, future feature enhancement flexibility and ease of integrations with other systems. CXL integrates seamlessly with WordPress via a proprietary plugin. Content XLerator has two primary applications: * Multimedia Content Marketing * eLearning Media Management For the Multimedia Content Marketing application, CXL enables content authors — via a smartphone, tablet or computer — to record/upload multimedia content (video, audio, image, text) and have it automatically publish to multiple online locations (website, blog, YouTube, social media, iTunes, email). CXL addresses the three primary challenges of content marketing: * Complexity of using video & audio, the preferred content marketing media * Need to frequently and cost-effectively produce lots of multimedia content * Hassle of logging into numerous online accounts to distribute content In addition, CXL enables the most valuable form of content marketing: customer-generated content. For the eLearning Media Management application, CXL supports the rapid adoption of video/audio in online learning. In addition to its wealth of unique features, CXL provides private video/audio/podcast hosting and social media management functionality.
