The foundation can help bridge gaps where county funding may be insufficient or delayed ensuring the Fire District has the resources it needs to operate effectively. Our Mission The Foundation's mission is to support the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District (Contra Costa Fire) by providing funding for equipment, training, technology and programs that enhance the District's ability to serve the community. What We Fund Equipment & Technology Advancements – Providing firefighters with cutting-edge tools and technology to respond safely and effectively. Programs that Support the District's Mission – Supporting mental health programs, physical fitness initiatives, and critical resources for first responders. Community Outreach Programs – Educating residents on wildfire prevention, CPR training, and disaster readiness. Education & Training for Personnel – Investing in specialized training, new rescue techniques, and fire prevention strategies.
