Conversation Starters is a women-run firm specializing in the discipline of facilitation; of listening, of learning, of creating inclusive spaces where authentic relationships can build, and laying the groundwork for sustainable change. We use Facilitation to develop and activate organizers, individuals, groups, organizations, institutions, and businesses to invest in disrupting systemic and individual occurrences of racism, inequity, oppression and prejudice. We use radical listening to create a psychologically safe space for learning and reconciliation. As expert facilitators, we model vulnerability by sharing our own stories to build trust with our clients and their teams. We set ground rules for respectful and transformational interactions while making space for disagreement and conflict and mitigating harm.
