Conversus UXO Consulting LLC

Conversus UXO Consulting LLC is an independent consulting service specializing in Unexploded Ordnance (UXO), Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC), and Explosive Remnants of War (ERW). I provide assistance with planning and execution phases in projects involving these threats. Conversus UXO Consulting LLC serves government contractors, environmental service companies, or any entity required to operate around or clear UXO, MEC, and ERW from work sites. My services include but are not limited to: 3rd Party Quality Control / Quality Assurance -Assisting with adherence to National Technical and Safety Guidelines (TSG) and the International Mine Action Standard (IMAS). -Advising and assisting in the development of individualized standard operating procedures (SOPs). Risk / Threat Assessments -Developing reports (standardized or individualized) reflecting the threats posed by UXO, MEC, and ERW to the site. Prioritizing threats on each site from high to low risk to give the client situational awareness of the dangers on each site. This can be done in either a “desktop” assessment or via an on-site visit. Ordnance Identification and Disposal Planning -Assisting and advising in the safe identification of UXO, MEC, and ERW to ensure accurate identification with minimal risk to personnel and equipment. -Advising in the development of disposal plans to ensure the complete elimination of all explosive hazards on site. Training -Educating personnel on how to operate safely in areas threatened by UXOs and MECs. Providing UXO awareness courses tailored to the clients’ needs.
