Formed ten years ago in January 2000 by Joe Weiss and John Cook, we set out to be recognised as a leading provider of fire and security installations for domestic and commercial premises across the UK; and now we are.
What started as small electrical work turned into the company Cookfire, one of the first Gent Systems Integrators to be promoted to the status of Elite Systems Integrator.
We are passionate about fire safety and that’s why we leave no stone unturned when it comes to ensuring your working environment is at minimal risk of fire.
BS Lighting and Fire joined the Cook Services group in February 2003 moving the company forward at a tremendous pace, incorporating all aspects of the business (BS Lighting and Fire, Cook Electrical and Cook Fire) under the banner of Cook Facilities.
In 2004 Cookfire become the first Gent Technical Centre in United Kingdom.
Our expert engineers have been trained to service and maintain any fire system in operation in the UK, regardless of manufacturer or the type of installation. They are comfortable with all fire safety equipment and are perfectly positioned to advise you on any improvements you could make.
