COOKE BROS ENGINEERING LTD

Cooke Brothers Engineering was founded in 1989 by brothers Ken & Malcolm Cooke. It is located in the countryside just North of Newtownards in North Down, Northern Ireland. The main nature of the business is the ability of being able to machine and produce large and unusual components, which most other engineering companies are unable to accommodate. It presently employs approximately 18 people skilled in all areas of engineering from small-scale precision engineering through to large-scale precision engineering on lathes and milling machines weighing 70 tonnes or more. Fabrication and welding also plays a large part in the company with several dedicated welders and fabricators who are skilled in the manufacture of components and products from sheet steel & Plate. A CNC Profile cutter was installed in March 2001 which adds to the flexibility of this department.
