Founded in March 2020 when the covid pandemic hit, Cooking Champions is a Community Interest Company providing food focused support in the North London boroughs of Enfield and Haringey.
In October 2022 we opened the first Community Kitchen in the Borough of Enfield. We are developing our weekly timetable, currently we provide:
- Parent and Child Cooking Sessions
- Cooking for The Little Things homeless outreach every Wednesday
- Free hot meals on Thursdays 12:30 - 1:30
- Open Kitchen session every Friday. We provide free food and two and a half hours of free use of our kitchen to help elevate our guests’ concerns about the current energy crisis.
In addition to this we have also been providing weekly food packages across North London every single week since April 2020.
