Creating Our Own Lives Academy (COOL ACADEMY) is a nonprofit organization established as a 501(c)(3) with a mission to empower artists, creatives, and content creators by providing access to education, resources, and opportunities that foster creative freedom and financial equity. At COOL ACADEMY, we believe that ownership is the cornerstone of sustainability. Our programs are designed to ensure that creators—whether emerging, commissioned, or established—retain full rights, ownership, and royalties for their work, enabling long-term financial security and generational wealth. Unlike traditional record labels, publishing houses, or arts schools, COOL ACADEMY redefines the relationship between creativity and industry. We focus on advocacy, education, and infrastructure that prioritizes the artist and their vision. Through strategic partnerships, collaborations, counseling, legislative initiatives, and community development, we bridge the gap between creativity and opportunity, cultivating an environment where the artist always comes first. COOL ACADEMY serves as a dynamic hub for creators of all disciplines, supporting not only their craft but also the communities they represent. Our goal is to inspire and equip a new generation of artists to take ownership of their creative journeys while paving the way for a more equitable and inclusive creative economy. We are not here to profit from creativity—we’re here to protect, amplify, and empower it.
