Our joint history with Bosch started in 1999 with their Security Systems division. At that time our sister company, Security Engineering, was the second appointed international partner of Bosch Security Systems. We were a part of their ascent from being a relative newcomer in the industry to becoming the international leader in Integrated Security Systems. Today, Cooling Distribution Network (CDN) is repeating the same history in the HVAC cooling and heating range by partnering with Bosch Thermotechnology to promote the new Bosch air conditioning range in Lebanon. Bosch Thermotechnology has a long history in the HVAC industry and it has recently started to expand its reach outside its original target markets (USA, Turkey and others) to the rest of the world. Bosch Thermotechnology achieved a turn-over of more than USD 3B in 2017 in heating and cooling equipment. CDN is joining forces with Bosch to provide system solutions for the commercial and industrial sectors, offering a broad range in HVAC with main emphasis on Variable Refrigeration Flow (VRF) heating and cooling systems. CDN is providing energy-efficient products manufactured by Bosch Thermotechnolgy and offers comprehensive support services, working in partnership with engineers, contractors and consultants. CDN aids contractors, consultants and specifiers to equip themselves with the knowledge and practical skills required for a successful career in the industry. All VRF products marketed by CDN and manufactured by Bosch Thermotechnology are subject to 100% Quality Control where each outdoor unit is connected to indoor units in the online test room and operated for over 10 minutes. The system records all parameters, comparing them with standard specification values to ensure a consistent and high quality product performance. The systematic testing system carried on Bosch VRF includes enthalpy method test rooms for outdoor and indoor units, allowing performance tests up to 32HP (90kW), as well as user simulation and airflow tests. In all, over 100 tests are carried out in these areas. In addition, incoming inspection, online and offline tests are also performed.
