CoolWhey was Founded in 2014 by three students looking to create a healthier version of everyones favourite treat. After having finished their last semester in college, they decided to get in the lab and with the help of their fourth partner, an esteemed ice cream expert, CoolWhey was born.
Today, CoolWhey boasts two distinct product lines, a sport version which is sold in over 300 supplement stores across Canada and a mainstream line, sold in over 550 Canadian grocery stores. With a total of 8 unique flavours including 2 lactose free, CoolWhey is on its way to become a household regular.
CoolWhey operates in a 5000 sqft office in the heart of Montreal, has 5 different distributors servicing two countries, and has sold over 750,000 units of ice cream. CoolWhey's staff consists of 4 full time positions and 4 part time positions.
