Our Cooperative The name of the organization is Cooperativa de Servicios Múltiples para la Producción Alternativa Ecológica de Panamá, R.L., with the initials COOPAEP, R.L., constituted as a Limited Liability Cooperative Association. The cooperative has the following objectives: - Provide members with a cooperative system to accumulate savings and obtain credit, at a fair, reasonable and competitive interest rate. - Stimulate and develop the spirit of initiative and work among the associates, so that they contribute to increasing national prosperity. - Promote an education program on the principles of cooperativism. - Carry out any social or economic activity permitted by law and that benefits the Cooperative. COOPAEP RL is a cooperative specialized in the agricultural sector based in Panama. The business structure is similar to that of a holding company that has strategic abilities to facilitate banking functions, designate its own free trade zones and process anywhere within Panama.
