CCS is an engineering design and development company specializing in medical electronics, electromechanical systems, software and sensors.
Founded in 1986 by Tommy Cooper, P.E., the company has successfully developed numerous medical products for use in cardiovascular, cardiology, obstetrics, audiology, neurophysiology, nephrology, patient monitoring, medical teaching, home care and other market areas.
Mr. Cooper is a registered professional engineer in Texas and has a MSEE. He has over 43 years experience in the design and development of medical products. Prior to founding CCS, Mr. Cooper was director of engineering for two medical companies in the Houston area.
Mr. Steve Macha, who joined CCS in 1989, has a BS Physics and a BSEE and is also a registered professional engineer. He has over 45 years experience in the development of high technology products in medical instrumentation, petroleum exploration and computer products.
Mr. Ross Cooper joined CCS in 2010. He has a BSEE and is a Certified LabVIEW Developer. He has 16 years of experience in designing embedded microcontroller systems, computer based software apps and automated test systems
Mr. Alan Cooper joined CCS in 2015. He has a MSEE and 10 years of experience. He has designed sonar signal processing software and integrated software systems for US Navy submarines. For CCS he has designed and tested hardware for medical systems and has prepared medical device documentation systems.
CCS has developed a wide variety of complete medical products for its client companies. CCS has provided technical assistance in testing, validation, and documentation for obtaining FDA approval to market products. CCS builds prototypes to meet customer needs for bench and clinical testing.
