COOPERANT is at the forefront of advancing the next generation of Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) technologies by tackling typical limitations of conventional CSP facilities such as dispatchability, cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
The main project objective is the design and demonstration of the COOPERANT CSPTES, a first of its kind technological innovation in high performance CSP volumetric receiver coupled with hybrid TES systems
working with air as the heat transfer fluid (HTF) at very high temperatures (up to 1000ºC).
