COOPERATIVE EXCHANGE

The Cooperative Exchange was established in 2002 to promote and advance electronic data exchange for the healthcare industry. It is the recognized resource and representative of the clearinghouse industry for the media, governmental entities and other industry stakeholders. The Cooperative Exchange is committed to promote and advance electronic data exchange for the healthcare industry by improving efficiency, advocacy, and education to industry stakeholders and government entities. The Cooperative Exchange addresses regulatory and compliance issues pertaining to the industry through whitepapers and dialogue with government officials. We were at the forefront of the NPI rollout, adoption of the 837 electronic claim and responses, and meeting with congressional leaders and HHS to discuss the impact of HIPAA on the healthcare industry.
