The Italian national coordination of associations of people with DOWN syndrome was born in 2003, on the occasion of the first National Down Syndrome Day, with the aim of activating and promoting unitary and shared communication actions between the various Italian associations that dealt with protecting and promoting the rights of people with Down syndrome.
