COP-PILOT, an EU-funded Innovation Action under the HORIZON program (starting January 2025), aims to create a Collaborative Open Platform (COP) piloting framework for seamless end-to-end orchestration across service domains. By integrating AI-driven tools, SLA-preserving automation, and secure infrastructure, the platform will pilot diverse real-world applications in sectors such as energy, smart cities, agriculture, and manufacturing.
The project seeks to establish a standards-aligned, market-oriented computing environment that fosters cross-sector collaboration and innovation, driving societal impact. With 47 partners from industry, academia, research, SMEs, and non-profits, COP-PILOT sets the foundation for a scalable, multi-domain ecosystem promoting technological and market advancements.
