The reduction of the environmental impact is ensured by the post-tensioning systems of the box culverts that make possible underground cycle-pedestrian crossings of roads, highways and railways, with only one night of traffic closure: this is the technology "Coprem Zero Impact Underpasses", already used in more than 300 construction sites, half of which in the railway sector with RFI.
The integrated protection and sealing system of the structures, in the HDPE Lining (High Density Polyethylene) or Welded Joint version, consists of applying a high-density polyethylene liner (HDPE T-Grip) to the inner surface of the concrete, which guarantees the absolute impermeability of the pipeline and the durability of the design parameters for more than 100 years: more than 1,200,000 m² of liner have been installed in more than 400 construction sites with more than 1,100 km of X-rayed and certified extrusion welds.
