Die CORAmaps GmbH ist ein im Dezember 2019 aus der Technischen Universität Darmstadt heraus gegründetes Start-up-Unternehmen. Wir glauben, dass die KI-basierte Interpretation von satellitengestützten Radardaten die Schlüsseltechnologie für die Bereitstellung von jederzeit aktuellen Informationen über den Zustand der Landbedeckung überall auf der Welt ist. In diesem Zusammenhang wird ein besonderer Schwerpunkt auf detaillierte und schnelle Informationen über landwirtschaftliche Flächen gelegt.

Das Basiselement "Feldfruchtklassifikation" wird von der CORAmaps GmbH ausschließlich mit Radardaten erzeugt, was gegenüber der multispektralen Analyse zahlreiche Vorteile bietet. Eine zuverlässige, schnelle und genaue Feldfruchtklassifikation ist dadurch bereits im Mai eines jeden Jahres möglich.
Neben Agrarflächen entwickelt die CORAmaps GmbH zudem Lösungen im Bereich der Stadtstrukturanalyse und des Infrastrukturmonitorings.
CORAmaps GmbH is a start-up company from the Technische Universität Darmstadt founded in December 2019. We are a team of four co-founders with comprehensive expertise in the fields of remote sensing, machine learning, imaging radar, geodesy, environmental sciences and business administration. We believe AI-based interpretation of satellite based radar data to be the key technology for instant information on the status of land anywhere in the world. In this context, we laid a special focus on detailed and rapid information about agricultural areas with regard to the questions what grows where, how much of it and in what quality.
