The time-honored Peter Drucker axiom, "What gets measured gets managed" fully explains why we're losing the battle against heart disease: Neither physicians nor consumers at-risk for heart disease and stroke can serially track changes in the health of their arteries—where the earliest signs of cardiovascular (CV) disease occur. Without a simple, non-invasive tool in the office or home to measure arterial health, both doctors and consumers today are flying blind when it comes to managing CV risk.
