It has a multi-layer security system that is monitored 24/7; multiple security motion cameras (30-day archive); physical security throughout the building; logging of all entering and exiting the facility; authorized access to specific areas; locking front and rear doors on all customer cabinets. CORE has Intelligent power. It has exceptional redundancy with two layers of backup; UPS holds initial load; if power is not restored, backup dual generators with automatic pick-up provide an additional source, each capable of handling entire load; cabinets have A&B PDUs with remote management available for emergency reboots. It has been constructed to withstand an EF-5 weather event; 12" thick reinforced concrete exterior walls; 8" thick roof with an extensive control system to prevent water damage; 8" thick floor with waterproof barrier and additional sub floor slab; cooling provided by two 50-ton chillers and in-row cooling units; pre-action (dry pipe) dual interlock fire suppression system with multi-zone photoelectric and ion smoke detection sensors. CORE is owned by Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative and is adjacent to NEOEC's main headquarters in Vinita, Oklahoma.
