Research project to improve the spinal health of astronauts by the Centre for Aerospace Medicine Studies @faculdademedicina.ulisboa
The CORE (Core Oriented Resistance Exercise) team aims to enhance the tone of trunk muscles of astronauts conducting missions in microgravity conditions.
Our main objective is to validate that core based resistance exercise activates spinal and trunk muscles in microgravity in a similar way to in 1g.
