Core Construction are a groundworks and civil engineering company based in Margaretting, Essex – covering Essex and the surrounding counties in addition to north and east London. The company was established in September 2011 by Will Hendry. Will has over 35 years’ experience of all aspects of the industry having worked for some of the largest groundworks companies in the region prior to forming Core Construction. Initially starting in the 1970’s as an excavator driver he worked his way through the industry, latterly in management roles – all of which gave an excellent overview for managing his own business. This broad range of experience means that Will is aware of the importance of having all areas of the company functioning properly, in order to continually provide a good service whilst striving for repeat custom. To date we have completed projects up to a value of £2m, however pride ourselves on embracing a range of projects in terms of value, scope and complexity. We have worked in residential, commercial, educational, industrial and healthcare sectors and recognise the challenges and constraints that these present. Previous clients have ranged from national housing developers, regional building contractor and self-builders. Core Construction pride themselves on client retention, forging relationships and offering the same enthusiastic service for repeat business as we do for opportunities with new clients. Working safely is paramount, and to underline this Core Construction currently hold CHAS and SMAS accreditations. To obtain these a rigorous application procedure is completed, detailing company processes, procedures, training and recent accident records.
