- 1935-1946 Royal Navy - Narvik, Mediterranean and Arctic Convoys, incl Battle of the North Cape
- 1939-1945 Civil Defence Corps
- 1940-1945 Royal Artillery - Malta and Italy
- 1940-1945 Home Guard then, from 1941, a Judge in the British Administration in Abyssinia
- 1942-1945 Royal Artillery - Egypt, Syria and Italy
For all these projects, I'm enjoying applying the skills and experience from my time in science research (PhD), scientific publishing and medical communications - accurate information, engaging writing, effective relationships, collaborative interviewing, confident presentation, and a global view - as well as adding high-quality photography.
