Cornerhouse Is A Charity Supporting Young People Improve Relationships, Sexual Health & Emotional Well-being in Hull & East Yorkshire. Supporting people holistically around sexual health and wellbeing for over 30 years; our projects are diverse and continually evolving to respond to the needs of people in our community around their sexual, physical, social and mental well-being. Starting as AIDS Action in 1988 and becoming Cornerhouse in 2000, we have a passion for empowering young people to make the right choices for them. Currently we are proud to be home of: 🔴 Peer Mentoring (part of Headstart Hull) – training young people in schools and the community to mentor other young people within their schools or other youth venues and clubs with emotional wellbeing. Mentees can be referred via the HeadStart Check List or self-refer. 🟠 The CARE Project - one to one support for young people at risk of sexual exploitation, targeted workshops in schools and youth venues covering healthy relationships and CSE. 🟡 The Boys & Young Men’s Project – 'Break the Cycle' offers early intervention for 11–16-year-olds, starting to show controlling and coercive behaviour. The project also supports SEN B&YM with appropriate sexual behaviours, relationships, and development. 🟢 ReachOut – Street based outreach project covering the city of Hull, meeting young people in their own spaces, and offering a friendly face, signposting and diversionary activities, working closely with neighbourhood teams. 🔵 Step Out LGBTQ+ Youth Group – weekly confidential support group offering socialisation, information, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ young people in Hull and the surrounding areas. 🟣 Training for professionals and parents, session can be completely bespoke and delivered on all holistic aspects of our work. 🔴 Relationship and Sex Education – Bespoke packages of RSE can be delivered in secondary schools, colleges or any other youth setting. 📞 If you think we can help you, call 01482327044
