Cornwall Disability Alliance

The Disability Alliance was formed through the vision and dedication of the Voluntary Sector Forum, to align voluntary and community organisations with common thematic goals, together. We are a pan-disability alliance supporting people with a long term health condition and/or disability and local communities in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly to improve their economic and social wellbeing. Our vision is a fully inclusive and equitable society, with equality of opportunity for all. We believe, through providing a collective and representative voice, we can work positively and proactively with service providers across all sectors which will enable us to create inclusive communities for all. We are chaired by Jane Johnson, Chief Executive of disAbility Cornwall & Isles of Scilly. 'To make our communities inclusive and equitable for every citizen' We will achieve this through proactive engagement with all sectors, raising awareness of the barriers people face and work collaboratively to overcome them. We want to create a space where discussions lead to tangible improvements and meaningful action across our communities.
