Cortical Dynamics is focused on finalising technical development of its core-product, the new AI enhanced medical brain monitor BARM 2.0. BARM 2.0 will be ready for clinical trials this year, followed by approval submissions and commercialisation. BARM1.0 is FDA 510 (k), CE, TGA ,Korean MFDS approved Brain Anaesthesia Response (“BARM™”) Monitor.
The BARM™ System has been developed with the objective of better detecting the effect of anaesthetic and analgesic agents on brain activity, aiding anaesthetists to accomplish their fundamental goal of rendering the patient optimally unconscious and immune to pain.
BARM™ is based on innovative developments in how the brain's rhythmic electrical activity, EEG, is interpreted and analysed. Our AI enhanced BARM2.0 will generate indices directly related to the physiological state of the brain complement by mission and deep learning to provide optimal feedback to clinicians on patient state in real time.
