Corticale S.r.l. is a neurotech OEM, whose main purpose is the development, production and commercialization of active CMOS high-density neural interfacing probe components for pre-clinical and clinical application. Corticale's technology is based on SiNAPS architecture. Nowadays, this is the only available technology that implements the "active pixel sensing" (APS) concept applied to in vivo implantable devices. By exploiting the SiNAPS architecture, Corticale’s devices can achieve, an electrodes density two orders of magnitude higher than any other nowadays neural interface available on the market. Furthermore, the intrinsic modularity of the Corticale's technology, allows for a quick and flexible layout customization to produce neural interfaces that best fit for every possible research and clinical application.
