SPARK is a unique partnership between university and industry founded by Professor Daria Mochly-Rosen in 2006 at Stanford University in USA. The purpose is to provide the education and mentorship necessary to advance research discoveries from the bench to the bedside. SPARK GLOBAL provides access to specialized knowledge and technical expertise regarding drug and diagnostic development and sources of funding to support translational efforts. The SPARK model is a cost-effective way to facilitate development of research discoveries into novel therapeutics or diagnostics.A number of academic institutions have successfully developed their own SPARK programs. SPARK at Stanford actively supports our US and international partners in the development of their programs with visits, guest lectures, and more.

I serve as a volunteer Startup Mentor and Advisor at Social Hub Genova, an esteemed accelerator and business incubator with a strong emphasis on fostering social/impact innovation. In 2016, I joined a dynamic team with a clear mission: to address market needs and meet investor requirements while envisioning the future of humanoid robotics. The team's journey began in 2012 when Professor Giorgio Metta, the current Scientific Director at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), sought to establish a sustainable business model that would integrate humanoids into everyday life. To tackle this complex challenge, a select group of professionals with diverse expertise in market analysis, communication, industrial production, design, start-up creation, and finance came together, giving birth to the Day6ix Think Tank.Driven by a collective desire to design a visionary business, we explored viable applications, sought input from various stakeholders such as industry leaders, scientists, competitors, VC firms, and policymakers. We meticulously developed several product concepts, constantly refining our vision based on valuable insights and contributions.In 2015, IIT made a strategic investment to develop a marketable and cost-effective humanoid. Leveraging iCub technology, the IIT lab successfully delivered R1, a remarkable achievement realized within a short span of 16 months. This milestone marked a significant step forward in bringing our vision to life and showcasing the team's unwavering dedication and technical prowess

An industrial robotic solutions provider catering to the nuclear decommissioning industry successfully executed a strategic expansion plan to establish a global presence and relocate their primary operations to the United States. This transformative project culminated in the acquisition of the involved entities by a prominent international industrial group, solidifying their market position and paving the way for accelerated growth and enhanced business prospects on a global scale.

As Finance Manager for a medium-sized multinational group in the food industry, with a turnover of 150 million Euros and over 350 employees operating from facilities in Italy and Portugal, I spearheaded initiatives to elevate the Finance function's quality, effectiveness and efficiency. By defining a compelling vision and strategy, I optimized role allocation, ensured robust quality control measures, and conducted a comprehensive cross-functional business process review. More over, I orchestrated a complete reorganization of the Treasury and Finance Department, streamlining the holding's financial operations.
