CorTru is a Veteran Owned small business. We are general contractors with a reputation for excellence on complex projects and programs for clients who demand expertise in our core skill set: metal fabrication, AISC-certified erectors, AMPP (SSPC)-QP1 certified corrosion control and painting. CorTru was formed in 1993 when business partners Lawrence Myers and Anne Robins acquired Raytheon’s specialty division, UE & C Catalytic, located on Florida’s Space Coast. CorTru acquired the property, assets and retained many of the Raytheon employees, along with their wealth of knowledge and experience. CorTru continues to provide many of the capabilities associated with the Raytheon-era expertise and reputation in metal fabrication, structural steel erection and specialty welding. Since 1993 CorTru’s construction and O&M support capabilities expanded to include general contracting, corrosion control, painting and industrial coatings. CorTru’s continued growth led to further expansion of services and now includes: self-performed, full scope craft labor support services on several projects for prime contracts at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) and the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) and expanded into new markets beyond aerospace.
