La Cosecha, which translates from Spanish to The Harvest, is an independent, tax exempt, not-for-profit organization with Tulsa Community Foundation as our fiscal sponsor that serves all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. With a goal of relieving hunger by providing food as well as opportunities to empower the community to increase sufficiency, La Cosecha feeds, supports, and educates its constituents to achieve community transformation. Distributed on a weekly basis, an average family of four receives a week's worth of food at each disbursement. Today, our team serves an average of 1,000 families per week through our large scale food distribution.
