Cosmic Carrot is a creative led, content-driven, digital interpretation company. We make immersive experiences, films and digital interactive media for museums and visitor centres worldwide and also provide AV consultancy for clients and/or exhibition designers. We have a passion for a good story and the expert know-how to bring it alive. Led by Creative Director, Mark Herbert and Producer Clare Herbert, each with over 20 years experience of producing short-form media for museums, Cosmic Carrot has a reputation for design excellence and the high production values - whatever the budget. We approach each project with fresh eyes, innovation and curiosity and interpreting the brief is something our clients say we do best. Making media for museums is different. We use both archive and purpose shot material but whatever the original content we understand how the programmes will integrate with the exhibition design - which isn’t always (or even often) as a standard single screen format. We have directed a planetarium show, produced multiple multi-source shows, made films that bring setworks to life, projected onto material, created films that span huge spaces and films that are viewed through a peep hole! This type of production requires considerable thought and planning from conception, through filming and in post-production. We work for: exhibition & interpretation designers, museums, science centres, Cathedrals, heritage centres, visitor attractions, wetland centres, historic houses, temporary exhibitions.
