We’re CounterFactual. We’re behaviour change advisors who work with local governments to help you understand and change behaviour for the better. Many of today’s pressing social issues are fundamentally about human behaviour. You want to support residents and communities to do more of something, or less of something. To act sustainably, to engage in local decision making, to take up services and comply with bylaws. But behaviour change can be hard. People don’t always do what they say they will, they carry on behaving as they always have, and they may push back on changes. These are the challenges that CounterFactual specialise in. We bring our knowledge of human psychology, and apply it in creative ways to the tough public service challenges facing local governments and community partners.
