COurban is an urban design collective based in Copenhagen working with democratic city planning through co-creation, participatory design processes and doing on site data collection.
At COurban we pride ourselves on working with theoretical knowledge at a 1:1 scale. This means we always do a lengthy set of research before starting any project, such as learning from best practices around the world, using our academic connections to gain further knowledge, and employing an ethnographic perspective on our work.
Urban design and architecture have moved from design as decoration, to design as problem solving, and from this perspective is how we address our projects.
