COVENTRY HAVEN WOMEN’S AID support women & children subjected to all forms of abuse. We offer safe specialist refuge accommodation and various methods of bespoke support and advocacy, both in refuge and in the community.
We provide a helpline open 7 days, IDVA support, legal clinic, professional counselling, Drop-In sessions daily at various venues across the city, closed survivor groups, community activity based group work, specialist projects for FMHBA and FGM, IRIS, Ask Me Ambassador project, volunteering, events and awareness raising, fundraising, training for survivors, corporates, employers, banks, clergy, local authority, police, education, social care and children’s services, campaigning and lobbying.
