Coventry Structured Investments (‘CSI’) does nothing off-the-shelf. We are drawn to situations – and they to us – where the possibility of funding seems remote. The satisfaction of imagining, building, and delivering those improbable funding solutions that is our vice. Our ‘purpose’ is to catalyse meaningful growth at marginal risk for the companies and investors we bring together. What does that look like? We leverage deep structuring expertise, industry relationships, and business acumen to acquire, aggregate, securitize, and service high-quality, esoteric assets. We take the resulting investment opportunities to our investors, but retain an interest in the assets – we know their potential. If we have a superpower, it is the use of responsible leverage to amplify investment outcomes. It’s how we generate equity-like returns at credit-like risk. CSI is led by Rasool E. Alizadeh and Derrick J. Hur. They have more than 30 years of combined experience in financial markets with a focus on capital markets, securitization platforms, asset servicing, and specialty finance. Together, they have raised ~$10bn through securitization platforms and mezzanine financing during their careers, a testament to their ability to consistently deploy capital, with uncommon results, into unlikely situations.
