Collectively the firm’s Principals have over 50 years of architectural experience. Our growing team of Architects, Intern Architects, Architectural Technologists and Support Staff bring their education and experience from across Canada.
Collaboration
We value collaboration so much we put it in our name! We joyfully collaborate with our team and clients, other firms and folks within our broader industry. For collaboration to be successful, clear, respectful, kind and direct
communication is imperative.
Consideration
It is important for us to deeply consider how our projects respond to the climate crisis and other modern challenges. We are highly capable of meeting the unique needs of each project and make space for design at every opportunity. Our consideration extends to how we work within our teams. Not only are we human centric (we can be human at work) but bio centric as well (we try not to overlook our impact on any living thing). This is the basis for our inclusiveness.
Balance
We respect everyone’s need for a work/life balance. We encourage all employees to develop healthy outlets for stress management and root for your resiliency through tough situations. In our project work, we aim to
balance the time it takes to look for creative and playful opportunities, while maintaining client’s budgets and contractor’s schedules. We continuously coach our teams on managing expectations (i.e. your
own, your clients and other team members).
Improvement
We aim to continually do excellent work by evolving our iterative
processes. Reviewing and reflecting is a big part of how we assess where we can improve. We review and reflect on our internal systems. We review and
reflect on ourselves. In the end, we want to be known for creating beautiful and efficient buildings.
