We have learned from other countries is that Clinical Teams are both at high-risk and are severely over-burdened. As such, we are launching an open-source Sprint to formulate possible solutions to the following challenges:
The Situation:
As the "COVID-19" pandemic spreads across the world, many organizations, companies, and innovators are asking how they can help. There are several acute pain-points for health systems - from efficient diagnosis, to patient management.
Key Challenges:
1. Development of a non-human patient interaction and care solution for quarantined/isolated patients
2. Personal protection for Healthcare workers
3. Alternative ventilation mechanisms
4. Non-invasive test for large amount of people at the same time
5. Enabling remote ICU management
6. Triage systems for individual hospital wards
7. Communication with the families of ICU patients
8. Keeping hospital staff up to date with the latest directives and knowledge base
The SPRINT!
The COVID-19 Sprint is setting up 2-3 teams for each challenge. Each team contains a core group of Builders (Product Manager, Engineers, Solution Architects), with a clinical advisory group advising each challenge.
Engineers, product managers, clinicians, care managers, project managers and more volunteer to join existing teams or create new teams.
