The coworking movement grew up and became mature ecosystem with huge influence. What was born from open source and collectivist spirit maintained by narrow ring of evangelists and visionaries is now changing the way how will 4 billion global workforce operate. We believe workplace models of “old” economy is dead as workflow is not strictly linear anymore, companies structure is more flat than hierarchical and most of the work can be done remotely. Coworking movement is here to show how future of the work will look like: Community, sharing, independence, decentralization, but also less stress, burnouts, more effectiveness, happiness, creativity and health.
By 2020 there will be 1 billion people working remotely and 40% of global workforce will be freelancers. Our vision is to be mover of this workplace culture shift. For 200 years we were the told the old economy traditional office is the only way. Now it is time to move on. Of course it won't be easy transition and we will have to learn a lot (fighting loneliness, privacy, self-discipline,..) because habit is the second nature and we got too settled for outdated tradition customs. Our vision is nothing less then to make world a happier place to work.
