Cowzen

cowzen is a partnership between lean consultants and practicing dairy vets aimed at applying Lean skills on dairy farms. The collaboration has shown significant fiscal, welfare and environmental benefits. We focus on enabling dairy cows to produce milk, looking for lots of marginal improvements to each farms unique system and environment. To date the programmes we support, on average have identified and developed actions to release £100,000 opportunity costs per farm. In addition, the farms year on year carbon audits suggest a 4 - 6% fall in carbon footprints
