Cox Aviation, LLC provides management and technical consulting services to Architecture and Construction firms. Our primary focus is on military and civilian airport design for civil projects, infrastructure and facilities. We provide code review to architecture firms for Air Force, Coast Guard and Army Aviation projects and provide quality control services. We have extensive experience in DoD regulations including AT/FP, technical orders and Unified Facilities Criteria. For construction firms we provide quality control services including technical assistance, design-build assistance and construction oversight. We can assist with the preparation of state, local and environmental permits and will help streamline the confusing and difficult FAA 7460 permitting process. We provide assistance with Government contracts including the bid process, bid review, preparation of contractor proposals and extensive plan review. We provide corporate training for contractors on reporting and documentation for Government contracts. We can navigate the complex government requirements including daily reports, submittals, meeting minutes and contract closeout. We can assist with the preparation of quality control plans, payment requests, schedule of values and CPM schedules. We provide change management services to review disputes between the government and contractor and provide technical assistance in the preparation of change orders. We maximize the reimbursement of contract changes to the contractor and have extensive experience in negotiation strategies.
