We are united behind principles that exemplify the democratic and innovative roots of the charter school movement. Our schools provide creative options in public education, explore new leadership structures and collaborate in the public interest. CPICS promotes public school autonomy and transparency. We believe in the power of schools to transform the lives of young people AND in the responsibility of government to ensure that all children have adequate nutrition, shelter, health care, and educational opportunity.
