Region 4 University Transportation Center (UTC) serve as a research and education focal point to advance southeast transportation research, education, and leadership efforts with emphasis on enhancing rural transportation. This will be achieved by involving other Region 4 UTCs in research; providing a platform for regional training, education, and workforce development activities; engaging regional stakeholders; and creating a regional and national forum for mobility innovations for rural and underserved communities.
