Crabs Alive runs the first and only successful hatchery for mudcrab in Africa. We are based in Che Shale, Kenya and run a community outgrower programme to ensure local communities can also benefit from our success. We promote mangrove positive mariculture and are also the only producers of crab fattening boxes in Africa.
